Importance of Hair Conditioning for Healthy and Shiny Hair !

Importance of Conditioning your HAIR -:-

Although everybody needs a conditioner, the frequency of conditioning depends upon the texture of one’s hair. If you have greasy hair which looks shiny all the time, you can avoid using conditioner. However, if your hair is dry and gets tangled easily, it is recommended that you use conditioner every time you shampoo.

Conditioner should be used on the lower half of the hair length, while people with greasy hair should simply apply it to the tips.
There are several conditioners available in the market. Broadly speaking, they come mixed with shampoos, or as stand alone conditioners or leave-in conditioners. Conditioner mixed in with shampoo are not very effective, as it gets washed away during the process of shampooing.

To use a standalone conditioner, after shampoo rince ,take a dollop of conditioner and run it through the hair. You can run your fingers through the hair ends avoiding scalp. Let it stay on the hair for a couple of minutes before you wash it off.
Leave-in conditioner needs to be applied on towel-dried hair and is not to be rinsed out with water. If you are prone to split-ends, you can apply a hydrating serum to the tips of your hair to hydrate the shaft and minimize splits.

IMP NOTE :: Avoide directly on the scalp as it is designed to moisturize the hair shaft and not the skin. When applied directly on the scalp, it may cause a reaction on the scalp skin. This can result in an itchy scalp and some people who are prone to dandruff may have an exacerbation of dandruff if the conditioner is applied directly on the scalp.

Hence, there are several reasons to condition one’s hair as it makes your hair smooth, soft and less prone to damage.

Difference between foundation, compact powder, BB/CC creams, mousse, and concealer?

Some people might be confused what should be applied after what when doing Make up ? So here the difference and also tells what to be applied step wise.....always choose a product that suits your skin not your friends using, recommended to take sample test before you buy which are available easily at plazas ....

Foundation- it is a product which give you even skin tone and coverage. They are of many types:
  1. Stick
  2. Liquid
  3. Mousse
  4. Mineral powder
It creates a perfect base , should be applied after moisturizing and concealer.

Compact powder- it is a super mattifying thing, has to applied on top of your liquid or creamy foundation so that it will not settle into fine lines or slide down your face.
It's a best base for applying your countering products too like blush, bronzer, highlighter, they can also be applied after foundation but it will last longer when powder is in a mix. Some powders also helps in covering pores and fine lines.

Concealer or color corrector-  Cosmetic that is used for hiding acne marks, blemishes, age spots, dark circles and other pigmented areas.
It's similar to foundation but thick in consistency but used to hide pigmentation by blending imperfection in surrounding skin tone.

BB creams- Stands for beauty balms or blemish balms. Its like a tinted moisturizer with many skin benefits including SPF.
It can smoothen the skin, gives a very light coverage, has anti-aging elements too, moisturizer, has SPF, it has some light reflecting properties so it gives you a dewy and luminous effect.

So here is the Q :- Moisturize - Concealer (if required) - Foundation - Compact powder - Liner - Kajol -Lip gloss - Bronze (if required).

So go ahead make your day much more perfect with perfect make up.

New Year’s Eve Hair and Makeup Ideas !!!

Try these gorgeous ideas for a bold, sophisticated look at your New Year's Eve celebration.

Effortlessly :

Paired with a strappy dress and dangling earrings, a loosely tousled French twist has that devil-may-care Bardot allure. And there’s no pressure to be perfect: The less done it looks, the more captivating it becomes.

How-to: Prep damp hair with texturizing spray to give it body, says Mancuso. Then, for a tousled look, blow-dry hair using fingers rather than a brush. Work a pouf of mousse through hair to make it pliable. Now gather hair at the nape and twist upward. Use bobby pins sparingly to anchor hair to the scalp loosely.

Beauty note: Highlight cheeks and lips with the same cream-based color. Try Mary Kay cream blush in Sheer Bliss.

Cool and Classic

A short, choppy crop takes an exquisite turn when you smooth it back and add a pair of striking yet simple earrings. The effect is especially chic against a bare neckline.

How-to: Don’t assume that you have to forgo the look of an up do just because you have short hair. You can achieve the same result by simply slicking hair back into a pretty shape. You’ll need “all the hold you can get,” says Mancuso, to ensure that little pieces don’t stick out. To start, spritz a root-boosting spray onto dry hair to give it strength and malleability. Once the spray dries, tease the crown area, then smooth hair gently back and fold it into place with a paddle brush. Finish with heavy-duty hair spray.

Beauty note: Pink lipstick complements a feminine hairstyle.

New Romantic

Even chin-length hair can be worn up in a feminine, face-framing braid. Paired with a matching set of necklace and earrings that look plucked from Grandma’s jewelry box, this casually plaited style delivers old-world charm to a conservative long-sleeve dress.

How-to: Shortest hair can be elaborately styled and with minimal effort. Start by prepping dry hair all over with texture spray. Next, braid three narrow sections from one side of the forehead to the opposite end and secure at the temple with bobby pins. Hold the remaining hair back with bobby pins, or gather it into a small ponytail if the hair is long enough.

Beauty note: Brows enhance the look. Define them with brow powder.

Modern Glamour

Gorgeous, bouncy waves that skim the shoulders are just as show stopping as a dressy up do but less involved.

How-to: Begin by blow-drying naturally curvy or wavy damp hair with a paddle brush. In the last few minutes of drying, switch to a comb to pull out any kinks. Then create a deep side part. For a smooth but not overly straightened finish, run a flatiron through just the front portion of hair. Mist with hair spray.

Beauty note: A sophisticated hairstyle demands a classic red lipstick.

REMEMBER >: Less done =More captivating (so don't over do).
