Understanding your Acne and How to treat them.

Introduction

Acne is hard on your skin, but it can also affect your self-confidence. You can control acne with several different acne treatment options. Usually, the best way to manage acne is with a combination of treatments.

Skin Care Routine

Squeezing pimples and scrubbing your skin can make acne worse. It also can lead to scarring. So, the first step is to wash your skin gently twice a day with a mild cleanser. Also make sure your makeup and skin care products are oil-free and say "non-comedogenic" on the label. Which means it’s not likely to clog pores.

 Cleansers

People with mild acne often use over-the-counter skin cleansers that contain benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid. These cleansers remove dead skin cells, kill bacteria and dry up skin oils. Products with these ingredients come in many different forms, including gels, creams and pads. The cleansers usually work well to clear mild forms of acne. Even so, it may take up to eight weeks before you see improvement.

Chemical Peels and Extractions

A doctor applies chemicals to the skin for these procedures. The chemicals, such as glycolic acid, loosen blackheads and help unclog pores. Do not try to give yourself a chemical peel. This procedure requires special training. For an extraction, your doctor may remove pimples with a device that looks like a pen. Large acne cysts may also be surgically drained.

What to Avoid With Sensitive Skin ??!??

Sensitive skin can take many forms. Sometimes, it will be a simple case of irritation; other times, it could be a serious outbreak of eczema with severe itching, redness, and even bleeding. Even more, it’s difficult to identify the triggers that might bring about flare-ups.

But there are things you can avoid to minimize irritating sensitive skin. The first thing you should do is visit your dermatologist to see if there is any underlying medical cause for your skin issue. In the meantime, stay away from the following.

  • Avoid scented laundry products. Although the smell of clean laundry can be refreshing, chemicals found in laundry detergent can cause irritation for those with sensitive skin. Other triggers to avoid when it comes to clothes are brand-new clothes that haven’t been washed .New clothes may contain formaldehyde or other chemicals. Natural fibers such as 100 percent wool can also irritate sensitive skin.

  • Perfumes, bath bubbles, or scented lotions. When in doubt, read the ingredients on your cleaners and soaps, and keep it simple. Avoid using spray perfumes and body splashes; instead, consider using natural oils.

  • Prolonged exposure to water. It would seem as though moisture would be a good thing, but too much water from a long bath or swim can cause skin flare-ups. Take short baths and keep the temperature lukewarm.

    • Reduce stress. People tend to experience higher incidences of eczema and rosacea when under stress. Introduce a relaxation technique into your daily life, such as meditation, yoga, or walking. With increased physical activity, be careful about sweating too much, which can irritate sensitive skin, too.

If you do have a prolonged, unexplained rash or irritation, it’s always best to visit your doctor. Some forms of eczema, like atopic dermatitis, may require prescription creams and medications.

We need to store our nail polishes in the right way if we want them to last for a longer .

We need to store our nail polishes in the right way if we want them to last for a longer time.

Store nail polishes in a cool, dark and dry place
When your polishes are exposed to direct sunlight and heat the polish will thicken and the color will start changing. The best place to keep your nail polish is under your bed or in drawers.

Place your nail polishes in an upright position
– If it doesn’t stand in the right position the polish will slowly leak into the cap making the bottle hard to close. This will definitely dry out the polish and create air bubbles.

I would suggest getting transparent storage boxes or shelves/racks. Even a shoe box will do the job. I found this cute idea where you can store your nail polishes in a little suitcase. I love that!

How to Store your Nail Paints 1

If your nail polishes are stored in drawers or in boxes it can be difficult to see what nail polish color it is so here’s a quick tip:
Take a pieces of paper and cut small circles and tape them on top of each of your nail polish’ lid. Paint the paper piece with the nail polish and now you know what color polish it is.

I’ve also heard that keeping your nail polish in the fridge will extend its shelf life by slowing down the discoloration that happens when nail polish gets older, how far this workes i never tried.

I hope you found these tips useful! ðŸ˜‰

Hand cream is sometimes not enough. In order to take good care of your nails, you need to get special nail creams. They are usually not expensive, and there’s a bunch of them on the market. Try a couple until you find the one that suits you best.

Cuticle Removing:

One of the biggest mistakes many girls do when it comes to their nails is cutting the cuticles. This should never be done. Instead, apply cuticle remover gel or cream and gently push your cuticles with a cuticle stick

Filing and Polishing :  First and foremost, invest in a good nail file. Every time you clip your nails, file them. Do this by moving the file in one direction only. When you move it left and right you’re actually creating tiny cracks that weaken your nails. Polish your nails not more often than once a month. If you do it too often, you can make your nails thinner and weaker.

Tips for Keeping Your Makeup in Place During Hot Summer Months .

Read through below to see our tips!

We know, it's so annoying when your makeup starts melting during the Summer months. The heat means you're going to sweat, but it also means your skin will likely produce more oil.

There's some simple steps you can take before, during and after you apply your makeup to keep it all perfectly in place.

1.Try using a clay mask once a week to reduce your skin’s oil production.

2.Apply foundation only where you need it – and if you can, skip it altogether! Especially in the summer, do not over-apply.

3.Light, sheer coverage is best – choose a tinted moisturizer and use concealer where you need it.

4. If you can’t skip foundation, use a primer first, and then apply the foundation with your fingertips.  This will warm it up and when you hit the summer sun, it won’t be such a shock.

5.Set with translucent powder.

6.Use an eyeshadow primer - it helps keep your color vibrant and keep it from sliding or creasing.

7.Cream and pressed powder eyeshadows are best because they’re less likely to move.  Silicone-base are good.

8.Heat up lash curler to really curl them – but do it carefully! Crimp twice: the middle and edges.

9.Dust a translucent powder over your lashes (with eyes closed), then apply mascara.  It’ll cling to the powder and last longer, your lashes looking fuller at the same time.

10.Water-resistant is better than waterproof, as it’s less harsh.  Test a mascara in the shower to see how it holds up to the hot water. If it passes, you’re good to go in the summer heat!

11.Use a lip stain rather than a lip gloss or lipstick, it has better staying power and looks most natural.

12.If you want to use lipstick, try applying foundation to your lips first. It will create a base and help it stay.

13.If you want to use lipstick, try applying foundation to your lips first. It will create a base and help it stay.

14.Keep a makeup sponge in your bag: so that you can smooth away any creases that develop.  Then set the makeup with a light dusting of powder.

15.Also keep blotting papers with you for any oil that develops – be sure to blot, not rub!

So go ahead and Rock this hot  summer with Perfect Makeup look.
